Lufthansa's Basic Round the World Airfare
Lufthansa has la great business class round the world. They allow Qantas to the US, unlike SWISS, and you can also use Singapore Airlines from Asia. This can mean you can incorporate 2 x A380 flights. For the price their business is class is excellent value for money, but it is a 'lie flat' style similar to Malaysian or Thai. But with partner airlines you can end up with half the ticket on fully flat carriers and half using lie flat seats...for around $7000 this is exceptional value for money. Availability can be tough and often 2-6 months notice is needed to book.

Pros & Cons:
Pros: Multiple stopovers in Asia. European side trip can be used into one city and out of another. Can now use Qantas to/from the North America as well as to/from Asia. You can now include own arrangements between the the West and East Coast of North America and new routes are available to South American destinations.
Cons: Africa & South America on one ticket require a surcharge payment, inquire for a custom quote. Availability limited if needing to change dates. Must be paid in full within 21 days of booking or sooner depending on airline cancellation deadlines and your departure date. Except from Sydney and Melbourne additional domestic airfares are needed to get to/from Sydney and Melbourne when going to or coming from North America. Sidetrips will add additional costs, London/UK is relatively expensive.
