Oneworld Update
Oneworld recently announced the addition of 3 new airlines to join its alliance, this will be their biggest expansion in the last 5 years. The new members Malaysia Airlines, Kingfisher & Airberlin will increase Oneworld's destination network by approximately 20% and its passenger capacity by around 15%. Currently Oneworld have 12 airlines and 20 affiliates that travel to 750 destinations this will increase to 900 destinations by the end of 2012 , once the new airlines are onboard.

Oneworld are the only alliance that still offer 2 pieces on luggage on round the world trips, all other round the world tickets now have 1piece for the entire journey. They have the most extensive network within South America and India -once Kingfisher join in early 2012.
