SWISS Round the World Airfare updated
SWISS has re-released their round the world airfare. The price has increased around $60 for the year round fare and around $180 on the earlybird fare but we can now incorporate Qantas flights to/from North America and to/from Asia and Africa.
Whilst the increase to the earlybird fare has been quite large it has also added Air Canada to the ticket which is an important addition. Also, the departure date must still be before 24 June 2010 but you can travel after this date....so no more restriction for all of the SWISS legs to be used by 24 June 2010. RoundAbout Travel applauds this more simple approach.
The one major downside to the change is that ticket reissue fees have increased to $135 per change. The first change at $35 has now been irradicated...making this fare a little less flexible that it was previously.
