New Lounge at Melbourne Airport

United Airlines passengers have scored a new lounge when travelling through Melbourne Airport, a welcome addition after United closed their own lounge in June of this year.

Effective  01 November, passengers traveling in United BusinessFirst and Star Alliance Gold members holding a United boarding pass can use the Cathay Pacific lounge, located on Level 1 at Terminal 2 (below Gate 6).

Opening Hours: Daily, 3 hours before scheduled departure time
Food: Breakfast Buffet, Snacks, Cold Buffet
Beverages: Soft Drinks, House Wine, Beer and Spirits
Facilities: Internet Access, Local Phones, Toilets

Other lounges available to United passengers in Melbourne include their Star Alliance partners Singapore Airlines and Air New Zealand, check with the individual lounge for access requirements.
