One stopover in Asia may be included as well as your European destination via Helsinki, this can be used as an open stopover flying in to one place and out of another. Additional stops may be added at Helsinki. In the USA, 1-3 stopovers can be included depending on your choice of cities.

Finnair offer a range of Asian stopover destinations with pricing depending on your stopover choice. Cheapest options are one stop in either a Tier 1 or Tier 2 destination. Tier 3 destinations permit two stopovers in Asia, one at the hub city and one an additional regional destination, using the major oneworld hubs of Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Tokyo to reach the next port. Fares are permitted to fly into one and out of another destination to create a more flexible itinerary. Flights are via Helsinki, one of the easiest and most efficient airports in the world. Total pricing depends largely on your European stopover with fares sold in 12 price tiers moving in $100-200 price increments.

One stopover is offered on the base fares from a Tier 1 destination. Tier 2 fares allow either one or two stop combinations.
Tier 1) Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York City, Honolulu and LA.
Tier 2) Los Angeles and Chicago, Los Angeles and NYC, Los Angeles and Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco, San Francisco and Chicago, San Francisco and NYC, Dallas and Chicago, Dallas and New York City, Dallas and Miami, Toronto (via Hong Kong) and NYC.
Tier 3) Additional routes offered via Havana, Puerto Vallarta, Boston, Washington, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Houston, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Vancouver and Toronto. South American Cities:
Fares are sold in 3 price tiers depending on whether 0, 1 or 2 flights are included in the Americas. Combinations are listed below travelling ex-Australia-South America-North America-Europe, but all options are available in the reverse direction from Europe-North America-South America-Australia.

Tier 1) Fly between Australia and Santiago, with own arrangements between Santiago to a Finnair hub in North America to depart for Europe (LA, San Francisco, Chicago, Havana, NYC, Miami).
Tier 2) Fly between Australia and Santiago, with one additional flight included from Santiago to Miami, NYC, LA before departing for Europe. Alternatively, fly between Santiago and Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Lima or Rio then make your own arrangements from there to a Finnair hub in North America before flying to Europe.
Tier 3) 2 flights are included within the Americas. Gaps between different cities are not permitted.
– Fly between Australia and Santiago – Sao Paulo/Buenos Aires/Lima/Rio – Miami/NYC or LA then Europe.
– Fly between Australia and Santiago – Miami/NYC/LA – Miami or NYC then Europe.
– Fly between Santiago – LA – San Francisco then Europe.
