Finnair Adds Seattle Service and Extends Stockholm flights

15 Dec 2021

Finnair, a favourite for savvy Qantas frequent flyer members, has introduced new services for 2022 in recent weeks. Off of the back of announcing a new Dallas service, they’ve now expanded further with new flights between Seattle and Helsinki. Starting on 1 June 2022, Finnair will operate 3 weekly flights to Seattle on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Finnair has continued to expand their presence in the US, by extending their seasonal services to/from Stockholm. Their flights servicing both NYC and LA from Stockholm will continue 4 times a week. This means for the popular Northern Hemisphere summer, Finnair will service the following routes [in either direction].

  • Helsinki – NYC
  • Stockholm – NYC
  • Helsinki – Dallas
  • Helsinki – Chicago
  • Helsinki – LA
  • Stockholm – LA
  • Helsinki – Seattle

This provides extensive round the world flight options, especially on the popular Finnair business class around the world deal. Some example routes would be…

Sydney – LA // Own arrangements // Seattle – Helsinki – European Destination – Helsinki – Singapore – Sydney

Sydney – Bangkok – Helsinki – European Destination – Dallas – Sydney

Melbourne – Sydney – San Francisco // NYC – Stockholm // European Destination – Helsinki – Tokyo – Melbourne

Perth – Singapore – Helsinki – European Destination – Helsinki – Chicago // LA – Sydney – Perth

The cheapest deals exclude the internal flights in the USA, you can fly in and out of Dallas or LA, leave a gap [as in the examples above] or pay a surcharge to include the internal leg with American Airlines. Enquire with our round the world experts for details.
