First Look At New Cathay Pacific London Lounges

Are you travelling through Heathrow soon? Good news! The highly anticipated new Cathay Pacific lounges are fully renovated and open to eligible passengers. Located in Terminal 3, the lounge is open to First and Business Class passengers, Silver or above Marco Polo Club members and Sapphire or above oneworld members. Here’s a first look at the luxury you can expect to find.

The new lounge features distinct First and Business Class areas, the first for the airline outside of Hong Kong to be set up with these distinct zones, and at 1,200 square metres is much larger than the old lounge. Designed by London based design studio Studioilse, the lounge has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the airport’s apron and northern runway and echoes the contemporary Asian aesthetics of Cathay’s flagship Hong Kong International Airport lounge.

The calming environment and endless amenities of the lounge is inline with Cathay Pacific’s ‘Life Well Travelled’ philosophy and provides a welcome oasis. Cathay Pacific General Manager Product, James Evans described the lounge as a tranquil haven for passengers to relax in.
