SWISS Airlines is expanding its long haul services to include Washington D.C. USA and Osaka Japan. The non-stop services will begin in March 2020, with five weekly flights between Zurich and Osaka and daily services to Washington D.C. Flights to Washington and Osaka will be operated bt A340 and A330 aircraft which both have 2-2-1 Business class and 2-4-2 Economy class configuration. The addition of the two new destinations to the SWISS network gives more flight options to both business and leisure travellers.

SWISS will begin flying to Osaka Japan

SWISS will be the only airline operating flights between Zurich and Japan’s third-largest city Osaka. The new service will be operated with Airbus A340-300 aircraft and will fly from March 1 2020 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and every day from Friday to Sunday. Osaka is known as “Japan’s Kitchen” and lies in the heart of Japan’s main island, from here, travellers can easily reach other Japanese cities just as Kobe, Nara and Kyoto, the major business centre and tourist destination joins Toyko as SWISS’s second Japanese destination. 

SWISS will begin flights between Zurich and Washington D.C.

SWISS will fly to the capital of the United States as part of a joint venture with United Airlines making 14 weekly flights between Zurich and Washington. The SWISS service will be operated by Airbus A330-300 and will fly daily to Washington D.C. from March 29 2020.
